  • God's story is always restoring people, places and perspectives back to His original intention. During our breakout, we will share stories, engage in discussion, and answer questions about how God is restoring Waterloo through the work of Habitat in the neighborhoods of Waterloo. By the end of our time together, our prayer is that you will be inspired to join God in what He is doing in Waterloo and the Cedar Valley.

  • A short term mission trip provides great opportunities. Not only to engage others around the world for Christ. It’s also an excellent way to test the waters of global mission work. A short trip to a foreign nation to share the Gospel changes lives. Could it change yours? Come to this breakout session and find out. Hear stories, ask questions, and engage those who have gone before you about what it is like to serve God in this way.

  • There are women and men who have been the salt of the earth, reflecting the light of Christ wherever they have gone. They have given their lives to share the Gospel and live the life of the believer. They answered the call of God. Now, many years later, they are here with us to share their experiences – the victories and the challenges. Come engage with them about how God has used them in amazing ways and how He might call you to serve in the Great Commission!

  • When someone is in the correctional system (in jail or prison), they may feel forgotten, rejected, even worthless or hopeless. Most of us don’t think about those who are incarcerated. But God doesn’t forget. He loves these precious people and wants to see their lives transformed. Through the Black Hawk County Jail Ministry and the Cedar Valley Church Prison Ministry we show love, give hope, and share the truth of God’s Word. At this session we will tell stories, take part in discussion, and answer questions about how God is working in this most critical area of our society. Learn how you can support and build these ministries!

  • Matt Moeckl believes that the number one problem that affects our world globally is the failure of fathers to follow through with their responsibilities. Matt’s desire to educate others on the topic and offer solutions has brought him all over the country and even internationally to inspire and educate others to advocate for the voiceless and defend the cause of the fatherless.

  • The Cedar Valley has a very large population of immigrants, internationals, and refugees right here in our community. You can live out the Great Commandment and Great Commision simply by being a friend to them. Many come from countries closed to the gospel and yet, here in the US we have freedom to reach them. Come learn how you can be involved.
